PLOT SYNOPSIS<\/span><\/h3>\n

The boss of an Iowa pajama factory hires superintendent Sid Sorokin (JOHN RAITT) to help oppose the workers’ demand for a seven-and-a-half-cent raise. Sid’s handsome, affable presence stirs the jealousy of foreman Vernon Hines (EDDIE FOY JR.), who is dating bookkeeper Gladys Hotchkiss (CAROL HANEY), and attracts worker “Babe” Williams (DORIS DAY), a strong advocate for the pay increase. Despite liking Babe, Sid resists the workers’ sabotage attempt and must decide whether to fire activist Babe.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Not completely positive, but based on other Warner Archive releases, I assume The Pajama Game<\/em><\/strong> received a new 1080p high-definition transfer. The picture, shown in its original 1.85 widescreen aspect ratio, looks absolutely glorious. Colors are brilliant and bright throughout without appearing overly saturated and detail is sharp and very well defined throughout. The transfer is also really clean, no obvious dust marks, scratches or other signs of film damage.<\/p>\n

The disc comes with a DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Mono track. As a musical, this sounds fantastic with some good depth for those musical numbers and outputs clear dialogue levels with some minor depth for any of the background sounds.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
