Magnolia Home Entertainment releases Alone<\/em><\/strong> onto Blu-ray where it\u2019s presented with a 2.40 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. A good portion of the movie, even during the daytime scenes, is pretty dark likely per the director and cinematographer\u2019s intent, as the tone is quite serious and menacing, not to mention the dark and damp Oregon setting. Thus, you\u2019re not going to get an overabundance of colors or anything, however detail is sharp enough and skin tones appear natural.<\/p>\n

The included DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track is perfectly serviceable. Dialogue between the three primary players come across with good clarity and there is some decent amount of depth once Jessica escapes into the wilderness and we get to hear the sounds of nature all around.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
