Seeking help for their wounded leader, they are surprised to stumble upon a welcoming brothel in the town&#8217;s square. But the beautiful women who greet them are actually a coven of witches with very sinister plans for the unsuspecting outlaws \u2013 and the battle between good and evil is just beginning.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Quick Hit Review: <\/strong>Outside of some classics, like <em>Unforgiven<\/em>, <em>The Magnificent Seven<\/em> and <em>The Good, the Bad and the Ugly<\/em>, I\u2019m not much of fan of westerns, even western-horror like this one was. So being up front with that, <strong><em>The Pale Door<\/em><\/strong> might feature some passable acting, much everything else falters. Although most of the movie takes place at night, with some scenes in bright daylight, the detail here is sharp and well defined; the natural film grain shines through. Colors are more tamped down outside of the daylight scenes while black levels are stark without appearing crushed.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<table id=\"review-content\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>AUDIO \u2013 4\u00bc\/5<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td id=\"review-content2\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The movie comes with a standard but effective DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. Dialogue comes across well enough however you can tell the on-set audio quality wasn\u2019t the best as some of it sounds a bit flat.
