Rich kid Danny Churchill (MICKEY ROONEY) has a taste for wine, women and son, but not for higher education. So his father ships him to an all-male college out west where there\u2019s not supposed to be a female for miles. But before Danny arrives, he spies a pair of legs extending out from under a stalled roadster. They belong to the dean\u2019s granddaughter, Ginger Gray (JUDY GARLAND), who is more interested in keeping the financially strapped college open than falling for Danny\u2019s romantic line. Warner Bros., through their Archive Collection, releases Girl Crazy<\/em><\/strong> onto Blu-ray with a new 1080p high-definition transfer. The black and white presentation of a 1.37 full frame aspect ratio looks great, detail is relatively sharp and the original film grain and noise is still present.<\/p>\n

The disc comes with a common DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Mono track showcasing the clear dialogue and musical numbers quite nicely. There were no obvious instances of hisses or pops making for a great lossless track.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
