When Beth\u2019s son (JETT KLYNE) brings home an imaginary friend named \u201cZ,\u201d she becomes concerned that he is falling too deep into a world of make believe. He starts to display extremely destructive behavior, blaming Z for all of his actions. But after he gets kicked out of school, Beth (KEEGAN CONNOR TRACY) is forced to find a solution. She medicates her son, making him unable to see his imaginary companion. But Beth sees Z… and he wants to be her friend.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Z<\/em><\/strong> comes out of hiding onto Blu-ray presented with a 2.35 widescreen aspect ratio (the back cover incorrectly states it is 1.78) and the picture looks fine, though nothing entirely exceptional. Detail is pretty good although, especially going into the last third of the film or so, is quite dark however I could still discern what is happening on the screen.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The disc comes equipped with a standard DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track which is more than serviceable providing clear dialogue via the center channel and modest depth for when the imaginary friend make its appearance, where the front and rear speakers gets some usage for the score and soundtrack.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Overall, Z<\/em><\/strong> is a slow burn of a movie that can be a struggle to get through, although the very least liked Keegan Connor Tracy, just a shame she didn\u2019t get a better script to work with. The Blu-ray release from RLJ Entertainment has zero bonus features while the video and audio transfers were satisfactory.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
