As Barry navigates the devastating Crisis, Killer Frost (DANIELLE PANABAKER), Cisco Ramon (CARLOS VALDES), Ralph Dibny (HARTLEY SAWYER), Nash Wells (TOM CAVANAGH), Joe West (JESSE L. MARTIN) and Joe\u2019s girlfriend, Cecile Horton (DANIELLE NICOLET), struggle to protect their city and The Flash\u2019s legacy. Quick Hit Review: <\/strong>I\u2019ve had plenty of qualms with the DC CW shows and the lower quality in storytelling or writing, none more so than the latter seasons of the now defunct Arrow<\/em> series, while Supergirl<\/em> has been on a downward spiral and Batwoman<\/em> not having the best launch, especially with star Ruby Rose unexpectedly leaving the role. In any case, the one show I have generally enjoyed is The Flash<\/em><\/strong>, although the ensemble has grown over its six seasons, including additional metahumans, the show still heavily relies on its star.<\/p>\n

Grant Gustin, much like Christopher Reeve\u2019s Superman or Gal Gadot\u2019s Wonder Woman, really fills the role of Barry Allen so well, and with genuine innocence and charisma that carries the series even when the stories from episode to episode may not be the strongest. Candice Patton as Iris West, shares some wonderful chemistry with Gustin, she is part of the heart of the show. Also enjoyed this season expanding the dynamic between Danielle Panabaker\u2019s dual personalities of Caitlin Snow and Killer Frost, the latter getting a bit more to do.<\/p>\n

The Flash<\/em><\/strong> still has some defiancies with some of the stories, heck the very first episode has Team Flash attempts to stop a growing black hole, created from inside the mind of a young scientist and social media personality (the character would become part of the team and was a nice addition), though we do get some nice scenes with Barry and Iris dealing with the loss of their daughter. And it wouldn\u2019t be a season without having a Grodd episode thrown in there, not the best one but was a fun change-up I suppose.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
