Plot Synopsis: <\/strong>Nina Moran (ZITA JOHANN) is a young woman sentenced to death for a murder she did not commit. Awaiting her execution, Nora explores the patterns of her life in a dream-like haze, including the dark secret that could change not only her own life, but the lives of those she holds most dear.<\/p>\n

Quick Hit Review: The Sin of Nora Moran<\/em><\/strong> is a nice enough drama, albeit nothing special, at least by today\u2019s standards, though not sure how well this would play in today\u2019s environment with, spoiler alert here, the titular Nina Moran taking the blame for a murder, and being put to death, with the real culprit, a married man, actually doing the crime, even with it being in self defense. Still, entertaining film that doesn\u2019t quite measure up to the great poster artwork.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The Film Detective releases The Sin of Nora Moran<\/em><\/strong> onto Blu-ray presented in its original 1.37 full frame aspect ratio and given a new 1080p high-definition transfer. The picture has been restored in 4K from the original 35mm camera negative and for the most part, looks pretty good. Detail is mostly sharp and although there is some film damage, this black and white presentation of a now 77 year old film is still impressive.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The movie comes with a DTS-HD Master Audio Mono track and dialogue comes through the central channel would good clarity but best of all, any pops or hisses, which can permeate these older films, is kept to a minimum, with maybe a slight white noise in the quieter scenes.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
