Synopsis: Star Trek: Short Treks<\/em><\/strong> brings fans of the Star Trek<\/em> universe together on an exploration of the themes and characters. Witness the Star Trek: Discovery<\/em> storyline expand with episodes featuring Rainn Wilson (Harry Mudd), Ethan Peck (Spock), Anson Mount (Captain Christopher Pike), Rebecca Romijn (Number One) and more. Experience nine shorts which deliver nearly two hours of live-action and animated adventures.<\/p>\n

Quick Hit Review: <\/strong>I\u2019m not a big Star Trek<\/em> fan and thus don\u2019t really care one way or the other on any changes or inconsistencies there may be between the various shows or movies. So these Short Treks<\/em><\/strong> mini-episodes are alright I guess though outside of maybe Anson Mount\u2019s Pike, didn\u2019t really care about these characters on Discovery<\/em> so here they don\u2019t do anything for me.<\/p>\n

I suppose if you are a big fan of Star Trek: Discovery<\/em>, these segments perhaps fill the void at the time streaming in between seasons, however while the first season episodes were ~15-minutes, the second season generally say running times cut in half and were even less ambitious (not that season one was).<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
