MOORE) offers it to a violent Mideastern leader. Before the sale is final, however, a special U.S. agent (CAROLINE LIU) goes undercover to steal it. But when she’s murdered, it’s up to secret agents Donna (DONA SPEIR), Nicole (ROBERTA VASQUEZ) and Edy (CYNTHIA BRIMHALL) to save the day.

Quick Hit Review: This is I think is my sixth Andy Sidaris film that’s I’ve watched and… honestly it’s difficult to distinguish one from the others. Hard Hunted follows the same formula with the group of hot agents try to foil some terroristic scheme by a generic evil bad guy, this time Kane once again, and in between inserts of topless ladies and awkwardly shot sex scenes that are less than even soft core. Beyond that, most of this film is pretty dull and a sprinkling of good bad moments and funny action explosions.

As with the previous installments, the acting is downright horrid made worse by terrible dialogue, though leads Dona Speir and, especially, Roberta Vasquez are very nice on the eyes, but they don’t really have a whole lot of screen presence, maybe an edge to Vasquez… until she speaks anyway. Otherwise, the supporting cast are pretty bland and don’t share a whole of chemistry. On the other hand, Rodrigo Obregón as Pico, with an eye-patch no less, had the right amount of cheese, sadly he’s not the main villain and is only in the film for a few wonderful minutes.

Sure, Hard Hunted is camp galore, which would be fine but unlike other comedies, like your Airplane or The Naked Gun, the humor just doesn’t quite work mostly because the actresses Sidaris hired are merely there to go topless and any males are pretty poor in their own rights. The other issue, the formula feels tired for this series, the highlight easily is Hard Ticket to Hawaii, the second installment.

SPECIAL FEATURES – 3.0/5

This release comes with a Digital Copy from movieSpree. As with the other entries, this very likely looks better than when it was released on DVD, however this transfer was still littered in many scenes with dust marks, scratches and other film damage.
