Plot Synopsis: <\/strong>It\u2019s a double-trouble alrt whgen an average crime-fighting in Jump City goes haywire, Robin (SCOTT MENVILLE), Cyborg (KHARY PAYTON) and the rest of the Teen Titans Go members \u2014 Beast Boy (GREG CIPES), Raven (TARA STRONG) and Starfire (HYNDEN WALCH) \u2014 are kidnapped and find themselves unwilling combatants in an otherworldly face-off hosted by the maniacal manipulator the Master of Games (RHYS DARBY)! The Tournament of Titans pits the members of Teen Titans Go against none other than their much taller selves, the Teen Titans. But not is all is it seems and soon the two groups must work together in order to stop the demonic, and Raven\u2019s father, Trigon (KEVIN MICHAEL RICHARDSON), from taking over the universe.<\/p>\n

Quick Hit Review: Teen Titans Go!<\/em><\/strong> has never been a show I was big into, mostly as the style of humor, if not also the animation itself, isn\u2019t exactly my thing, though since each episode is only 15 minutes, it does make for a breezy time waster. With its popularity, the show would get the feature film treatment with Teen Titans Go to the Movies<\/em><\/strong> which I found to a fun little flick, but again, the comedy itself was more aimed at younger viewers, though there were some neat in-jokes for the DC fan\u2026<\/p>\n

Well, the post-credit (or was it mid?) scene promised the return of the 2003, older fan favorite, Teen Titans<\/em> with a more, in my opinion, streamlined designed and more serious type of content (PG rated level anyway). Now, I wasn\u2019t an avid viewer of this series either, but from what I have seen, it was more to my liking. With that, we get Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans<\/em><\/strong>, a enjoyable little romp of a film with in-jokes aplenty and appearances of a variety of other Teen Titans, including the PG13 darker versions which I did immensely love.<\/p>\n

Of course, this doesn\u2019t have the strongest plot and the character development is a bit weak, but for a movie that, even with the \u201cclassic\u201d Teen Titans being featured, is still aimed towards the younger viewership. Even so, this was an all-out entertaining film that actually had me smiling for nearly the entire running time. Well worth at the very least a rental.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The features aren\u2019t exactly plentiful but there is Teen Titans Go: Top of the Titans<\/u><\/em> (32:24) <\/u><\/strong>which includes: The Raddest Songs<\/strong>, Titans Dance Party<\/strong> and Best Rivals<\/strong> featurettes to go along with two Sing-Alongs<\/u><\/strong> (\u201cWorlogog\u201d and \u201cWe Are Teen Titans) and 9 Bonus Cartoons<\/u><\/strong> for both Teen Titans Go!<\/em> (\u2018Legendary Sandwich\u2019, \u2018Mr. Butt\u2019, \u2018Cat\u2019s Fancy\u2019, \u2018Shrimps and Prime Rib\u2019, \u2018The Scoop\u2019, \u2018Chicken in the Cradle\u2019) and Teen Titans<\/em>.(\u2018Final Exam\u2019, \u2018How Long is Forever?\u2019, \u2018Deception\u2019).<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Warner Brothers releases Teen Titans Go vs. Teen Titans<\/em><\/strong> onto Blu-ray presented with a 1.78 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition. Obviously the biggest draw for this release are the bright colors which do appear vibrant while the black levels are pretty stark with no signs of artifacts or aliasing. There was some banding present but otherwise this is a fine looking transfer.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
