THE MOVIE \u2014 2.0\/5<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Plot Synopsis: <\/strong>The desperate search for a billion dollars worth of stolen gold exposes two beautiful L.E.T.H.A.L. agents (DONA SPEIR, HOPE MARIE CARLTON) to the ultimate danger and turns the shores of a tropical island into the blood-splattered sands of Savage Beach.<\/p>\n

Quick Hit Review: Savage Beach<\/em><\/strong> is the fourth movie of the 12-film series from Andy Sidaris and compared with the previous installment, Picasso Trigger<\/em>, doesn\u2019t nearly have the bizarrely bad yet still fun moments, and really outside of one scene, where a computer whiz opens a briefcase after which he explodes, the rest of the film is just filled with the poor acting from performers, most former Playboy models, who possess absolutely zero on-screen charisma or outright charm whatsoever. That being said, some of the directorial decisions Sidaris made does make the film somewhat interesting to watch, but as far as any laugh-out-loud scenes, very few to be had, unfortunately from this installment.<\/p>\n

Having watched this following Picasso Trigger<\/em> the following day, I really can\u2019t imagine making the Sidaris series some sort of marathon viewing, I\u2019d honestly might not be able to handle it and questioning what goes through that sort of mind, outside of getting some lovely ladies naked, and even then I think I\u2019ve become numb to the T&A between the Sidaris movies and many others I\u2019ve watched just over the past few months (from far more naturally attractive women if you catch my drift). Go ahead, comment below.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

As with the first three films from Mill Creek\u2019s Andy Sidaris\u2019 Blu-ray releases, this comes with an Intro<\/u><\/strong> by Sidaris, an Audio Commentary<\/u><\/strong> with writer-director Andy Sidaris and his wife\/producer Arlene Sidaris, a retrospective Featurette (43:58)<\/u><\/strong> that features Sidaris and Julie Strain and some behind-the-scenes footage and Trailers<\/u><\/strong> for all of his films.<\/p>\n

Inside there is a code to redeem through Mill Creek\u2019s \u201cmovieSpree\u201d app. Sucks you have to have another one instead of MoviesAnywhere, but I\u2019m sure there\u2019s some legal reason why.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The picture was taken from a 4K widescreen restoration and is presented with a 1.78 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. This picture at least looks a tad better than Picasso Trigger<\/em>, but there still was some specs and scratches every so often but otherwise, it is a sharp looking image and colors are vibrant enough and the natural film grain and noise was retained during the restoration.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

AUDIO \u2013 3.25\/5<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Similarly, the DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 track which sounds fine and does output clear dialogue levels and although there were some unevenness at times from scene to scene, that is very likely due to the sound design than anything wrong with the track itself.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The Blu-ray from Mill Creek offers up acceptable video\/audio transfers and a decent selection of old bonus material.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
