Under Colby&#8217;s care, the canine grows up to be handsome Benji, the mongrel hero. Benji soon teams up with Lizard Tongue, a local stray, to rescue his mother before she dies of overbreeding. As Benji and his friend try to get his mother away from Hatchett, they must avoid animal-control officers Sheldon (DUANE STEPHENS) and Livingston (RANDALL NEWSOME).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Quick Hit Review: <\/strong>Admittedly, despite being a pet lover (both cats and dogs), the <em>Benji<\/em> franchise has never been a favorite of mine. As I said in my <em>Critters<\/em> review, I\u2019m not the fondest of slapstick comedy and here you have a family-oriented film, meaning you\u2019re not going to get any risqu\u00e9 humor, this one never really made me laugh very much, though it was certainly a watchable movie, and one you can view with your entire family, though I suspect teens might find it a bit too hokey&#8230;<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<table id=\"review-content\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>SPECIAL FEATURES \u2013 2.25\/5<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td id=\"review-content2\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This release comes with a matted <strong>slip cover<\/strong> and a code to redeem the <strong>Digital <\/strong>copy from Mill Creek\u2019s site. Colors are vibrant in keeping with the light-hearted family-centric story and outside of a few minor specs, the picture is fairly clean.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<table id=\"review-content\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>AUDIO \u2013 3.75\/5<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td id=\"review-content2\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The disc comes with a nice sounding DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track which isn\u2019t anything mind blowing (or ear blowing anyway), as the bulk of the movie is either Benji and friends barking or the humans and their babbling dialogue.
