Breaking news from space. The bad: An intrepid captain and his men have landed on a plant where males are outlawed. The good: Some women there are eager to break the law. However, that\u2019s just the start of their troubles. The man-hating Venusian Queen (LAURIE MITCHELL) aims to destroy Earth once a Beta Disintegrator is operational. But a gossamer-gowned scientist (ZSA ZSA GABOR) and her curvy cohorts eye the men, and they like what they see.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Queen of Outer Space<\/em><\/strong> is presented with a 2.35 widescreen aspect ratio and given a new 1080p high-definition transfer. The video, for the most part, does look good with decent enough detail while colors have the usual look of CineScope movies. There are some softer spots but doubtful it has anything to do with the transfer but how it originally looked.<\/p>\n

The included DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Mono track is serviceable outputting good dialogue levels and some of the sound effects come through the center channel with okay clarity. I did not notice any instances of pops or hisses, so for a movie going on 60 years old, is impressive enough.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

This Blu-ray from Warner\u2019s Archive Collection offers good video and satisfactory audio with an academic-like commentary and the theatrical trailer.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
