Plot Synopsis: <\/strong>A decade after a tragic mistake, family man\u00a0Chas (DAMIAN O\u2019HARE)\u00a0and occult detective\u00a0John Constantine (MATT RYAN)\u00a0set out to cure Chas\u2019s daughter Trish from a mysterious supernatural coma. Quick Hit Review: Constantine: City of Demons<\/em><\/strong> is culmination, with some additional footage of an animated short series that aired on CW Seed (like Vicen<\/em>). The movie sees the return of Matt Ryan voicing the character he also has played in live action form on Constantine<\/em>, a guest appearance on Arrow<\/em> and finally a main cast member of Legends of Tomorrow<\/em>\u2019s fourth season. Bottom line, Ryan really embodies the character so well in both forms; you hear the character\u2019s internal sorrow, covered up with off-putting sarcasm.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Constantine: City of Demons<\/em><\/strong> is presented with a 2160p high-definition transfer and shown with a 1.78 widescreen aspect ratio. DC\u2019s 4K line hasn\u2019t always been glorious looking and while I don\u2019t think this looks exceptional in the format, still pretty darn good with some bright colors, aided by the HDR, in spite of the vastly dark tone, and I did not notice any banding which was present in a few scenes on the 1080p Blu-ray disc, so I that\u2019s a minor positive. Black levels on both formats are stark, though I think the 4K is a bit richer.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Both the 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray come with a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track which is fairly strong with clear dialogue mainly via the center channel while the front and rear speakers show off some modest depth for the numerous fantasy action sequences.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
