Following the revelation of new bioluminescent tattoos on Jane Doe\u2019s (JAIMIE ALEXANDER) body, this third season jumps forward two years as FBI teammate and husband Kurt Weller (SULLIVAN STAPLETON) finally tracks down Jane. Together, they return to the FBI, where, along with agents Edgar Reade (ROB BROWN) and Tasha Zapata (AUDREY ESPARZA) and tech-savvy Patterson (ASHLEY JOHNSON), they set out to decode the latest developments. But with the always unpredictable Rich Dotcom (ENNIS ESMER) assisting and new FBI director Eleanor Hirst (MARY STUART MASTERSON) bringing challenging dynamics to the once-cohesive team, Jane\u2019s lethal brother, Roman (LUKE MITCHELL), remains at large. Weller, Jane and the team set out to solve new puzzles and stop the dangerous conspiracies they uncover. Features are on the lighter side with several Deleted Scenes<\/u><\/strong>, a Gag Reel (6:38; HD)<\/u><\/strong> and Surveillance on Set: Agent Zapata (4:18; HD)<\/u><\/strong>, finds Audrey Esparza taking a camera behind-the-scenes and also discusses her character.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Warner Brothers tattoos Blindspot: Season 3<\/em><\/strong> on Blu-ray presented with a 1.78 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. The picture seems to basically matches up with how the season aired, colors are fairly bright even when the show\u2019s tone goes a bit dark and detail is reasonably sharp throughout.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The included DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track is actually fairly strong providing both crisp and clean dialogue levels through the center channel and there is some respectable depth for ambient noises and some of the side action with reverberating gunfire or fight sequences.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Overall, Blindspot<\/em><\/strong> was never priority viewing, and to be fair not much television is nowadays, but I have enjoyed the series and this third season does have some fun twists and turns, and the bioluminescent, while somewhat absurd even by standards of the show\u2019s premise, did bring a new wrinkle, even if some things don\u2019t make a whole lot of sense. This Blu-ray release through the Warner Archive Collection offers good video\/audio transfers and a thin selection of bonus features.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
