Since birth, Anna (BEL POWLEY) has been raised in isolation by a man she knows only as Daddy (BRAD DOURIF). He has done everything possible to conceal the truth about her origins from her. But when the teenage Anna is suddenly thrust into the real world under the protection of no-nonsense Sheriff Ellen Cooper (LIV TYLER), it soon becomes clear that she is far from ordinary.<\/p>\n

Shout Factory releases Wildling<\/em><\/strong> onto Blu-ray where it is presented with a 2.40 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. The picture is relatively sharp while colors are muted in keeping with the darker tones of the story and black levels appear fairly stark. On the downside, there is some banding but nothing overly distracting.<\/p>\n

The disc includes a strong though basic DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track which outputs crisp and clear dialogue levels and some nice surrounds with ambient noises that especially comes to life during the finale.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The Blu-ray release offers good video and audio transfers and limited bonus material.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
