An employee of the Dukes, Winthorpe is framed by the brothers for a crime he didn&#8217;t commit, with the siblings then installing the street-smart Valentine in his position. When Winthorpe and Valentine uncover the scheme, they set out to turn the tables on the Dukes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quick Hit Review: <em>Trading Places<\/em><\/strong> is yet another comedy classic from the 1980s featuring a few terrific performances, primarily by Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy showcasing their comedic talents, alongside the gorgeous Jamie Lee Curtis. The finale alone makes it a standout. As you might suspect, this is the same disc that was previously released and frankly, does not look the best. There were scenes I found some artifacting and the picture itself wasn\u2019t the sharpest.<\/p>\n<p>The Dolby Digital 5.1 track is standard but since the movie is mostly dialogue, it\u2019s serviceable enough where most of the audio comes through the center speaker while the front and rear channels are relegated for some minor ambient noises.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<table id=\"review-content\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>OVERALL \u2013 2.5\/5<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td id=\"review-content2\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Overall, I really like <strong><em>Trading Places<\/em><\/strong> and probably have seen it several times over the years, both in disc form and whenever it aired on TV.
