Plot Synopsis: <\/strong>The morning sun shines on the jewel of the Metropolis skyline, the Daily Planet building. But when The Joker decides this building needs a renovation, it\u2019s time to sound the Trouble Alert at the Hall of Justice because all bricks are about to break loose! The Justice League leaps into action, but, as the battle is brewing against The Joker, something goes haywire with The Flash\u2019s (JAMES ARNOLD TAYLOR) powers, causing him to get caught in a repeating time loop. Even stranger is the yellow-clad Reverse Flash (DWIGHT SCHULTZ) taunting him at every turn. It will take all of Flash\u2019s speed, a little magic courtesy of Dr. Fate and the helping hands (and paws) of the Justice League\u2019s newest recruits The Atom, Krypto the Superdog and Ace the Bat-Hound to break the cycle.<\/p>\n

Quick Hit Review: <\/strong>These LEGO direct-to-video movies aren\u2019t top notch as presumably they reserve better material for the feature film realm (well, other than Ninjago<\/em>) but these certainly have been entertaining be it Star Wars<\/em> or DC Comics. The latest from the latter is The Flash<\/em> and as always, the animation is pretty good as are the voice talents to go along with a nice story with a good message at its core for kids to enjoy. And what does make it entertaining for me, as a DC guy, is some of the in-jokes and cameos that includes the likes of The Penguin, Poison Ivy and Deathstroke.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The film is presented with a 1.78 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer and for the most part looks good with bright, cheerful colors from the reds in Flash\u2019s costume to blues in Batman\u2019s. Detail was sharp and no major instances of aliasing, artifacts or even banding which sometimes permeates animation.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Overall, LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: The Flash<\/em><\/strong> is the latest in these DTV movies and although this isn\u2019t entirely a laugh-riot or anything, especially compared with The LEGO Movie<\/em>, it was still highly enjoyable with plenty of in-jokes for the DC fans out there and was at least the kind of entertainment for both kids and adults. This Blu-ray release is basic with no bonus material but fine video and audio transfers.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
