named Lady (voiced by BARBARA LUDDY) and a street wise scrap aptly named Tramp (LARRY ROBERTS) who meet one day and, despite their differences, manage to fall in love beginning with the iconic visual of the pair sharing a bowl of pasta.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Quick Hit Review: <\/strong>As you may or may not know, I\u2019m not much for animation and my experience with the Disney classics is fairly limited primarily because I prefer to stick with live action material. But even so, this is a breezy film that tugs at the heartstrings of any dog owner and the animation is what made the old Disney animated films stand out from the rest and is literally a lost art with preferences going more towards computer animation than hand drawn.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Whether you\u2019re a fan of the classic Disney animation or not, <strong><em>Lady and the Tramp<\/em><\/strong> is one of the few I want in my collection (along with <em>Beauty and the Beast<\/em>, <em>Cinderella<\/em> and <em>The Lion King<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<table id=\"review-content\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>SPECIAL FEATURES \u2013 2.5\/5<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td id=\"review-content2\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This two-disc set comes in a standard Blu-ray case with an embossed and semi-glossy <strong>slip cover<\/strong>. Inside is a code for the <strong>Digital<\/strong> copy using the, seemingly, standardized \u201cMovies Anywhere\u201d app.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Unfortunately not all of the features were ported over or some of the \u201cclassic\u201d ones are only available on the Digital Copy. Even then, there is no commentary track on either, a really bizarre release.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>Walt &amp; His Dogs (8:27; HD)<\/u><\/strong> is a featurette with an archive audio interview with Walt Disney, along with others, talking about his loveable dogs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>Stories from Walt\u2019s Office (6:02; HD)<\/u><\/strong> \u2013 This is another new featurette with a tour of Disney\u2019s office and the trinkets and treasures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>How to Make a Meatball and Other Fun Facts About <em>Lady and the Tramp<\/em> (9:06; HD)<\/u><\/strong> \u2013 Disney\u2019s Alexys Gabrielle and Teen Chef Amber Kelley give cooking lessons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>Song Selection (9:59; HD)<\/u><\/strong> allows you to just watch the various music from the movie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>Diane Disney Miller Remembers Dad (7:51; HD)<\/u><\/strong> finds the daughter, who passed away in 2013, recounting her father the man.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>Deleted Scenes (19:11; SD)<\/u><\/strong> \u2013 Here we get three scenes, accompanied with a voice over, explaining the scenes and providing the voice for the characters. This 1080p high-definition transfer looks gorgeous. The video, presented in its original 2.55 widescreen aspect ratio, is free of flaws such as artifacting, dust, scratches, and banding. The colors look bold without seeming pumped up. This is easily the best <strong><em>Lady and the Tramp<\/em><\/strong> has ever looked and is equal with the other Disney classics that have been released thus far.<\/p>\n<p>* However, doing a quick comparison, this new one is ever so slightly brighter. It might not have the impact as some newer lossless tracks, but it sounds absolutely fantastic from the voices to the music and musical numbers throughout.
