Sigh. <\/em><\/strong>This year like the last I guess.<\/p>\n

No Solicitors <\/em><\/strong>is a pitch-dark comedy horror film that is, at best, amateurish in its filmmaking and some of the acting subpar save for the always entertaining Eric Roberts.<\/p>\n

The story centers around the Cuttermans who are seemingly an All-American family with a successful brain surgeon (ERIC ROBERTS) whom we are reminded a few times is set to receive an award for being the best in the country; the mother (BEVERLY RANDOLPH) who does it all cooking and is the assistant to the doctor; and a son and daughter (KIM POIRIER, JASON MAXIM) who would do any parent proud. Oh, and they also kidnap people to sell off their body parts and eat whatever remains as their dinner. On the case of the missing are two ridiculous detectives (JOSHUA BENTON, SEREIN WU).<\/p>\n

Most of the movie moves from dark comedy to gross torture porn with some okay looking gore effects surrounded by lousy performances and production values you\u2019d expect from something that likely sat on shelves for 3-4 years waiting for distribution. I suppose if you watch this with friends (no family), maybe there are some things here to poke fun at but otherwise this is a major skip.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Overall, No Solicitors<\/em><\/strong> is just one of those movies you see on the shelf at a Wal-Mart and probably, for good reason, pass on by.
