PLOT SYNOPSIS

Timid, fluttery, cat-loving confirmed bachelor Simon Haldane (EDWARD EVERETT HORTON) is used to having his excellent ideas ignored by his abusive boss Trundle (E.J. RATFLIFFE) while being pursued against his will by co-worker Agatha (LOUISE FAZENDA) when one dark and stormy night turns his life upside down. While Simon is confronted by Agatha\u2019s matrimony demanding mother (VERA LEWIS), a young lass take shelter in his apartment who happens to be undressed… Louise Beaver adds some sanity as Simon\u2019s maid, Easter.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The movie comes to Warner through their Archive Collection and although this didn\u2019t go through some recitation process, this isn\u2019t horrible looking, of course there are still scratches aplentifull. The disc comes with a Dolby Digital 1.0 track which I found a bit too soft but dialogue was at least good enough to discern.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
