PLOT SYNOPSIS

Ben Kirby (STEVE COCHRAN) is wild-horse wrangler who loses his heart to Wildfire, the stalwart and free-spirited stallion he captures. Cash-strapped Ben\u2019s dreams of training the horse are dashed when Wildfire is sold out from under him to Dave Tracy (RAY TEAL), a circus owner prone to mistreatment of his animal charges. When Tracy refuses to sell, Kirby liberates Wildfire and the two go on the run. Eventually finding sanctuary at a ranch run by Cas Bagley (HARRY ANTRIM) and Cas\u2019s animal-loving niece Jenny (SHERRY JACKSON), Kirby\u2019s dream of training Wildfire comes true. But an escaped lion and a vengeful Tracy are coming… and they bring death in their wake.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Warner Archive, through their MOD program, releases The Lion and the Horse<\/em><\/strong> onto DVD presented with a 1.33 full frame aspect ratio. This is not a great looking transfer, to say the least, with stabilization issues and plenty of scratches. The Dolby Digital Mono track is serviceable since dialogue levels at least were clear, but you did have some pops throughout.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
