Inspired by the book written by Dr. David Reuben, director Woody Allen tackles seven questions about sex by connecting seven not-so-connected stories. Twilight Time releases Everything You Always…<\/em><\/strong> onto Blu-ray and is presented with a 1.85 widescreen aspect ratio and given a 1080p high-definition transfer. For the most part, it\u2019s a fine looking picture with decent detail though colors aren\u2019t entirely vibrant, but I come to expect that for a movie of this age with no restoration work. Speaking of which, I did notice a few instances of dust marks and scratches, especially obvious over darker scenes.<\/p>\n

Included is a DTS-HD Master Audio Mono track which sounds good especially with dialogue levels which comes through cleanly and clearly whiles some ambient noises, being centrally located, still has some modest depth. But being mostly comedy driven, the majority are voices.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Overall, Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex* (but were afraid to ask)<\/em><\/strong> is a series of comedy vignettes featuring Woody Allen, Burt Reynolds and Gene Wilder amongst others and while none of these were exactly gems (I didn\u2019t laugh once during the jester part), it\u2019s still at least okay. The Blu-ray released through Twilight Time, their latest Woody Allen film, offers good video\/audio transfers but falters in the features department.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
