Quick Hit Review: <\/strong>The first of this vaunted trilogy is a hoot of a film, mainly for the clearly tongue-in-cheek tone and three fun-filled performances from Julian Sands, Richard E. Grant and Lori Singer. No, it\u2019s not some supernatural horror classic, and perhaps a slight notch below Wishmaster<\/em>, this is a film still well worth checking out.<\/p>\n

Warlock: The Armageddon<\/em><\/strong> (1993) \u2014 3.0\/5
\n<\/strong>Synopsis: <\/strong>The Warlock (SANDS) returns to try and free his father from the fiery chains that imprison him \u2013 and is challenged by two warriors (CHRIS YOUNG, PAULA MARSHALL) with supernatural powers.<\/p>\n

Quick Hit Review:<\/strong> This sequel finds Julian Sands back, despite being \u201ckilled\u201d in the first movie, but coming back in a, um, creative way by being literally reborn out of the womb of a modern day woman wearing a stone. It\u2019s dumb, not nearly as good as the first, and yet still quite cheeky in its tone and still at least mildly entertaining.<\/p>\n

Warlock III: The End of Innocence<\/em><\/strong> (1993) \u2014 2.5\/5
\n<\/strong>Synopsis: <\/strong>After Kris Miller (ASHLEY LAURENCE) moves into the abandoned 16th-century mansion she received as an inheritance, she is visited by a Warlock (BRUCE PAYNE) with some unfinished business: stealing Kris’s reincarnated soul.<\/p>\n

Quick Hit Review: <\/strong>And finally, the conclusion, which was straight-to-video, does away with any story about how the Warlock comes back, this time portrayed by Bruce Payne, and he kind of just shows up to the creepy old house. The plot is rather basic as he merely tempts each of these \u201cDawson\u2019s Creek\u201d wannabes and outside of a couple gnarly scenes, not much stands out, though for the few Botti Bliss fans out there, she\u2019s not bad and Payne for his part, albeit doesn\u2019t have the Sands\u2019s presence, was an acceptable enough Warlock.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
