Plot Synopsis: <\/strong>A fawn named Bambi joins his new friends, a young rabbit named Thumper and a skunk kit named Flower in happily exploring the woods. Bambi is captivated with a young doe named Faline, and he learns from his doting mother and his father — the Great Prince of the Forest — that besides the delights of the forest, there is danger in open meadows where hunters can see them. Though fear and tragedy touch Bambi’s life, another spring brings renewal.<\/p>\n

Quick Hit Review: <\/strong>Watching the film again with an adult mind, it’s pretty interesting to hear how little dialogue is used. Unlike other Disney films which run rampant with talking animals and the kind, this film feels more like dialogue was cut in half and we are instead left with judging what happens on screen.<\/p>\n

I’m still now wowed by this film. It all feels very rushed, even with the short runtime. But this is supposed to be a kid\u2019s film? Even as a kid I never wanted to watch this film due to Bambi’s Mother being killed. I guess with releases like Up<\/em> (make a grown man weep) already out there, this one might seem a bit tame, but to the younger kids, I just can’t see them wanting to watch this. I hesitated as I gave a copy to my niece for her Birthday, telling her mother to make sure to skip that chapter. \u2014 Brad Lowenberg<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
