Of course, it can’t be just a relaxing vacation on the old ranch without a ghost and mystery. The ghost is rogue outlaw of the Old West, Dapper Jack who happens to be a descendent of the Rogers’ family whose lore lures in tourists but when old Jack seems to have come back to life wreaking havoc, businesses and people begin leaving; it’s up to the SG to uncover the truth.

Quick Hit Review: These direct-to-video Scooby-Doo movies have been okay or miss of late with the mash-ups (WWE and KISS) being misses in my book and hardly entertaining let alone humorous. So with Scooby-Doo: Shaggy’s Showdown I was pleasantly surprised that the writers went back to the roots that made these so much fun and I found myself actually laughing (out loud) numerous times and finding the mystery to be actually, well, mysterious. The voice acting is decent as always though I do miss Mindy Cohn’s Velma though Kate McCucci (who took over last year on LEGO Scooby-Doo: Haunted Hollywood) was at least an okay replacement while Matthew Lillard continues to do a great job as Shaggy…

SPECIAL FEATURES – 0/5

This release comes with an embossed slip cover.
