They are now part of the permanent collection.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Quick Hit Review: <em>Waxwork<\/em><\/strong> is an insanely fun horror-comedy with the flare that reminded me of the great episodes in <em>Tales from the Crypt<\/em> and with some relatively sharp writing, this is a entertaining Saturday night type of flick even if the performances weren\u2019t that great, though having David Warner as the main antagonist is always a plus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>Waxwork II: Lost in Time<\/em><\/strong><strong> (1992) \u2014 2.75\/5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/JttBnom.png\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"border-screencapture aligncenter\" title=\"Waxwork II\" src=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/JttBnom.png\" width=\"650\" height=\"366\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Plot Synopsis: <\/strong>Having escaped the fiery destruction of the original <strong><em>Waxwork<\/em><\/strong>, Mark (GALLIGAN) and Sarah (MONIKA SCHNARRE) face another grueling ordeal in<strong><em> Waxwork II: Lost in Time<\/em><\/strong>, when Sarah is accused of murdering her stepfather. Fleeing through the doors of time in a desperate search for proof of her innocence, the two lovers find themselves caught in the eternally recurring battle between good and evil. Together they must stop one of the most powerful and demonic figures of all time \u2014 Lord Scarabus (ALEXANDER GODUNOV).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Quick Hit Review: <\/strong>This sequel attempts to re-create the insanity of the original, and to a certain extent it succeeds, and yet outside of a couple sequences, such as the homage to <em>The Legend of Hell House<\/em> and <em>The Haunting<\/em> with a cameo appearance by Bruce Campbell, there\u2019s little here that\u2019s lively and it didn\u2019t help Deborah Foreman\u2019s Sarah was replaced by Monika Schnarre who didn\u2019t quite have the charisma by comparison. Neither are what I would call incredible looking or anything yet detail at least look decent, albeit not entirely sharp, and colors are generally bright.
