THE SEASON<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

After enduring times of political trouble and personal pain, King Francis (TOBY REGBO) and Queen Mary (ADELAIDE KANE), France’s reigning power couple, reunite to save their realm. But Francis’ health shows signs of weakness, allowing Mary’s young cousin, Queen Elizabeth of England (RACHEL SKARSTEN), to mount a devious campaign to ensure her own place in court. And Francis’ mother, Queen Catherine (MEGAN FOLLOWS), constantly schemes to save her family, her country and herself \u2013 while satisfying her lust for power…and powerful men. As different as these three queens are, they have much in common. Reign<\/em><\/strong> takes the throne on DVD presented with a 16×9 enhanced widescreen transfer and features some nice colors and decent detail.<\/p>\n

The Dolby Digital 5.1 audio is solid enough with good dialogue throughout and the music makes use of all 5 channels but it\u2019s nothing extraordinary.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Overall, Reign: The Complete Third Season<\/em><\/strong> is a silly show for sure, a CW-ized version of Game of Thrones<\/em> sans the fantastic acting and amazing set designs. Watching this series, though, I had a hard time sitting through and listening to inane dialogue and bad performances almost all around. I suppose if you\u2019re a fan of these CW dramas, Reign<\/em><\/strong> might hit the right spot as a guilty pleasure.<\/p>\n

The DVD released through Warner Home Video has little to offer. The video and audio are nice but there are no features included.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
