Universal Pictures Home Entertainment releases Jarhead 3<\/em><\/strong> onto Blu-ray presented with a 2.35 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. The picture more or less looks like every other DTV release. Detail is relatively sharp and there\u2019s some natural noise giving it some texture while colors are drab with more brown in keeping with the Middle East setting.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The disc includes a basic but effective 5.1 DTS-HD MA track where dialogue levels are crisp and clear and when the action picked up, the depth comes through every available channel quite efficiently. It\u2019s nothing reference quality or anything but for what presumably was a limited budgeted flick (guessing $5M give or take), it\u2019s not too bad.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Overall, Jarhead 3: The Siege<\/em><\/strong> is at least an okay flick though it takes more than a few cues from the real life events in Benghazi that were portrayed in the big budget Michael Bay flick, 13 Hours<\/em>.
