Scooby-Doo and WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon, an adequate movie but for those of us who don’t know or couldn’t care less about the WWE, there’s not much here to enjoy to the point I almost dozed off and didn’t laugh once. Of course, at my age, I have to think I’ve finally outgrown Scooby and the gang and this is geared for far younger viewers and as I said in my last review, this is merely a way for the WWE to reach a younger generation.

The story is simple enough: Shaggy (MATTHEW LILLARD), Scooby (FRANK WELKER), Fred (WELKER), Daphne (GREY GRIFFIN) and Velma (KATE MICUCCI) are attending a racing event filled with WWE superstars including Triple H, Paige, The Miz and The Undertaker, amongst many others, as they race a course with the winning team collecting a cool $1 million. But just as the race begins, a demon racer enters the mix intent on taking out the racers. Vince McMahon puts the Mystery Inc. on the case to find the culprit before he (or she) damages more than the cars. In doing so, and once his driving partner is injured, The Undertaker is partnered up with Shaggy and Scooby much to their horror and pleasure as the Undertaker is their favorite wrestler.

Curse of the Speed Demon isn’t a terrible movie by any stretch but it is one of the weaker ones to come out of the Scooby-Doo line.
