PLOT SYNOPSIS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Federal agent Shiro Tanaka (SHO KOSUGI) used to live for his job \u2013 now, he lives only for revenge. When his partner is killed during a bungled drug bust, Shiro throws away his badge and the rule book with it: arming himself with an array of deadly weaponry \u2013 including nunchucks, blades and ninja stars \u2013 he sets out to Argentina to settle the score with the bad guys.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Arrow Video unleashes Rage of Honor<\/em><\/strong> presented with a 1.85 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. Although there is a heave presence of noise throughout, especially prevalent during nighttime scenes, it\u2019s not a terrible looking transfer with strong detail and colors appear to be natural looking. There were some minor instances of dirt and other imperfections yet for the most part it\u2019s a fine looking transfer that according to the liner notes was culled from a 35mm negative.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The film comes with a powerful PCM 2.0 track that not only shows off clear dialogue levels but some sweet 1980s score and music, including the title song, \u201cI Was Gonna Be Good To You\u201d. Beyond that, it\u2019s just an all around clean track with no noticeable hissing, crackles and pops.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Overall, Rage of Honor<\/em><\/strong> is a blissfully cheesy 1980s action\/martial arts flick that might not feature great performances but the fight scenes aren\u2019t terribly choreographed and it has enough of the fun factor to make it so entertaining. The Blu-ray released through Arrow Video has good video\/audio transfers but falls a tad short in the features department, which is surprising for Arrow.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
