<\/a>Hardly perfect and having a few of the problems I had with something like Maken-Ki, I found \u201cCS: CubexCursedxCurious\u201d<\/strong> is a fun and charming little anime series that I found entertaining in spite of moving a bit too fast in its storytelling and unfortunately fits in all the plots and characters into one season.<\/p>\n

Series Synopsis: <\/strong>Haruaki Yachi (YUKI KAJI) has seen his fair share of curses, but despite his familiarity, even Haruaki is out of his element when his father mails him a cursed torture cube with the humanoid figure of a cute young girl named Fear Kubrick (YUKARI TAMURA). Now, he\u2019s got to help her break her curse and leave behind her homicidal past before dangerous forces get ahold of her deadly powers. Sassy loudmouth Fear has a hard time keeping a low profile, but with the help of Haruaki\u2019s other cursed comrades, maybe this cubed cutie can find her place in the human world\u2014if she can break her curse in C3!<\/p>\n

Quick Hit Review: \u201cC3: Cube x Curse x Curious\u201d<\/strong> series is a fun little anime show that ran back in 2011 and finally received a North American release this year. The animation style is more or less in line with other anime releases so it doesn\u2019t really standout in that regard, yet there is a certain charm with the story and charisma between Yachi and Fear. Although I did enjoy the series, it\u2019s not entirely memorable but still well worthwhile for the moderate anime fans, though hardcore ones will be left vastly unsatisfied.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

\u201cC3: CubexCursedxCurious\u201d<\/strong> makes its NA debut presented in its originally televised 1.78 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. The picture quality is excellent, a nice blend of dark scenes with good starkness, with no apparent artifacts or aliasing, with the usual bright colors one expects with an anime release. It\u2019s an impressive transfer that looks quite good.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The only track available is a Japanese Dolby TrueHD 2.0 track which provides for crisp and clear dialogue levels throughout and while it is on the limited side being only two channels, there\u2019s some OK depth in certain scenes. It\u2019s nothing spectacular or anything but gets the job done well enough; it won\u2019t wow you yet for the type of series this is, and one going on 5 years old, is decent.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
