The quality between the five movies doesn\u2019t greatly vary. Although each film gets a 1080p high-definition transfers, the older movies, particularly Maximum Drive<\/em><\/strong> and Double Team<\/em><\/strong>, are a tad rough with what appears to be over-sharpening in some spots and detail isn\u2019t the best. The others look OK however nothing noteworthy and between the five, colors aren\u2019t the brightest and can come across a bit drab, particularly on Second in Command<\/em><\/strong> where it\u2019s basically non-existent.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

AUDIO \u2013 2.5\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Each film comes with a woefully underwhelming Dolby Digital Stereo track and in a couple of cases, Maximum Drive<\/em><\/strong>, Universal Soldier: The Return<\/em><\/strong> and Second in Command<\/em><\/strong>, received lossless tracks (and SIC<\/em> was released at one point through Mill Creek with a DTS-HD MA track), so for those three titles the audio is certainly a downgrade. As it is, though, they\u2019re adequate enough but not much more.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

I will give Mill Creek some credit for churning out these catalogue titles, especially ones, such as Double Team<\/em>, Sony wouldn\u2019t even think of releasing on Blu-ray, and with a bargain basement price of $15, and cheaper buying on Amazon, it\u2019s not a bad deal at $2-3\/movie. However, with the price come no frills including standard Dolby Digital Stereo soundtracks, no bonus features and not even a chapter selection menu. If you\u2019re a fan of JCVD though, it might be worth picking up.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
