Lionsgate releases Love the Coopers<\/em><\/strong> onto Blu-ray presented in its original 2.40 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. The picture more or less looks like what one would expect from a holiday comedy: colors are generally bright and cheerful and detail is decent enough. I didn\u2019t notice any major instances of artifacting or pixilation making for a clean if not unassuming HD transfer.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

As with the video, there are limitations since it is a comedy featuring minimal ambient noises and such.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Overall, Love the Coopers<\/em><\/strong> has an impressive cast but below par script. It\u2019s not all that entertaining despite having the likes of John Goodman, Diane Keaton, Marisa Tomei and Alan Arkin (not to mention Anthony Mackie in a thankless role) and with some snips could easily air on TBS to fill airtime around Thanksgiving or Christmas. The Blu-ray offers a forgettable selection of bonus material while the video and audio transfers are both well done.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
