The movie looks great in HD with sharp detail levels throughout and bright colors making it shine well on the small-big screen. There were no apparent issues like artifacts or aliasing and there\u2019s only a moderate amount of natural noise giving it a film-like quality.<br \/>\n<a name=\"audio\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>AUDIO \u2013 5.0\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Where the film excels is with the strong DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. From the opening as Naughty by Nature\u2019s \u201cHip Hop Hooray\u201d playing and the bass kicks it into gear shaking the floor and even walls followed up by any number of great songs from the 90s. Even still, the dialogue sounds crisp and clear and when there is action, such as music at a nightclub, the ambient noises make great use of the front and rear channels spreading things evenly out making for a near theater-like experience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><br \/>\n<a name=\"overall\"><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/A1PC2j1.png\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"border-screencapture aligncenter\" title=\"Dope\" src=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/A1PC2j1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"366\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>OVERALL \u2013 3.25\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Overall, <strong><em>Dope<\/em><\/strong> is one of the sleeper hits of the summer with its throwback music to the 1990s, a compelling and interesting story, well written characters and fine performances all around but especially from a young and mostly unknown cast.
