PLOT SYNOPSIS<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Miranda (ROSAMUND PIKE) is a dedicated nurse, an exquisite cake maker and an impeccable friend. But when she agrees to a blind date and the wrong man comes to the door… her perfect world is shattered by a brutal assault. Even after her attacker, William (SHILOH FERNANDEZ), is convicted and locked away for the crime, Miranda can\u2019t overcome the fear and trauma enough to put her orderly life back together. Return to Sender<\/em><\/strong> is delivered onto Blu-ray presented with a 1.85 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. Surprisingly enough, considering its DTS status, the picture is quite sharp throughout and has well balanced colors with natural skin tones. It\u2019s also clean, free of any ailments like artifacts or aliasing.

AUDIO \u2013 4.25\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The included DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track offers clear dialogue coming primarily through the center channel and due to it being more of a drama, there are limitations with some ambient noises coming from the rear speakers but it\u2019s fairly minimal. Still, it\u2019s an adequate lossless track.<\/p>\n

Overall, Return to Sender<\/em><\/strong> is a mixed bag, wanting to be both a revenge film and drama but doesn\u2019t do either very well. However, the acting isn\u2019t half bad led by Rosamund Pike playing well opposite Shiloh Fernandez. The Blu-ray released by RLJ is rather basic with no special features but has good video\/audio transfers.<\/p>\n
