In short, this documentary, which I\u2019d probably call more an expose than anything, is disturbing on many levels outlaying some shocking allegations on this \u201cchurch\u201d, its belief system but beyond that, the abuse it purportedly perpetrated on its members.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/vTs7HCR.png\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"border-screencapture aligncenter\" title=\"Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief\" src=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/vTs7HCR.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"366\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Utilizing interviews with former members, headlined by writer\/director Paul Haggis (<em>Crash<\/em>, <em>The Next Three Days<\/em>) and actor Jason Beghe (\u201cChicago P.D.\u201d), filmmaker Alex Gibney outlines Scientology\u2019s history beginning with its creator, L. When it comes to documentaries in HD, it\u2019s nothing to be enamored with since colors generally are bright while detail is fine. This isn\u2019t exactly the type of film that pops off the screen.<br \/>\n<a name=\"audio\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"*\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviemansguide.com\/images\/main\/bar_blue.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>AUDIO \u2013 3.0\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the same vein, the audio isn\u2019t anything noteworthy.
