Quick Hit Review:
\n<\/strong>I\u2019m not the biggest fan of \u201cThe Big Bang Theory\u201d<\/strong> or of Chuck Lorre\u2019s brand of humor but the cast at least has some chemistry with one another though Jim Parsons\u2019 schtick is getting quite tired though the Emmy and Golden Globe voters still seem to love him. That said, I did at least laugh more than I ever did with \u201cTwo and a Half Men\u201d and \u201c2 Broke Girls\u201d (two other CBS \u201ccomedies\u201d) but that\u2019s really not saying much…<\/p>\n

    Warner Home Video releases season 8 of \u201cThe Big Bang Theory\u201d<\/strong> onto Blu-ray presented in its original televised 1.78 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. As with the previous releases, this is a show that will always look good in HD with bright colors in just about every scene to go along with sharp detail levels. There were no obvious signs of aliasing or artifacts making for a clean transfer that matches up with how it was originally aired.

    AUDIO \u2013 4.0\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    The included DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track is fine but nothing extraordinary. The dialogue sounds clear in each episode and the music\/score makes the most usage of the front and rear channels but the bulk of the audio comes through the center speaker.<\/p>\n
