Not too surprising, Navy Seals vs. Zombies<\/em><\/strong> being a direct-to-video flick and probably done on a limited budget using digital cameras, it\u2019s not exactly the prettiest looking movie. The transfer is a tad too clean and looks cheap. Detail is at least decent enough while colors are (intentionally) drab in keeping with the apocalyptic-esque setting with the zombie epidemic. Having said that, it\u2019s OK just nothing incredible.

AUDIO \u2013 3.5\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The movie comes with an adequate if not basic 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track. Dialogue levels are good while the track receives an extra boost courtesy of the occasional action scene as well as zombie chases and gunplay to take down the undead. As with the picture, this is a sufficient lossless track but nothing more.<\/p>\n

OVERALL \u2013 2.5\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Overall, Navy Seals vs. Zombies<\/em><\/strong> is exactly as the title suggest with a bunch of soldiers going up against zombies. The make-up effects aren\u2019t too bad and as a whole, it\u2019s a fine time waster and quality-wise probably right up there with any number of those SyFy Original movies… take that for what you will. As for the Blu-ray, it\u2019s also rather basic with no bonus material and so-so video and audio transfers.<\/p>\n
