THE MOVIE<\/strong> \u2013 3.75\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Plot Synopsis: <\/strong>The story finds the Justice League \u2013 comprised of Superman (NOLAN NORTH), Batman (TROY BAKER), Wonder Woman (GREY GRIFFIN), The Flash (JAMES ARNOLD TAYLOR), Green Lantern (JOSH KEATON) and Cyborg (KHARY PAYTON) \u2013 finally gelling and taking out a variety of bad guys, like The Trickster (MARK HAMILL), with relative ease. This mightily frustrates Lex Luthor (JOHN DIMAGGIO) who decides to create his own league… the League of Doom. Along with Sinestro (HAMILL) and Black Manta (KEVIN MICHAEL RICHARDSON), hold tryouts for three remaining spots: Gorilla Grodd (RICHARDSON), Captain Cold (RICHARDSON) and Cheetah (CREE SUMMER)<\/p>\n

Together, with Darkseid (TONY TODD) working behind the scenes with Luthor, hash a scheme to defeat the Justice League once and for all with the help of a certain Martian being held by the U.S. government.<\/p>\n

Quick Hit Review: <\/strong>Thanks in large part to The LEGO Movie<\/em>, the brand has gone beyond its plastic bricks and gone into the video game realm and direct-to-video movies including ones comprised almost entirely of cut scenes from aforementioned games. Their latest, which I think is an original story, is Justice League: Attack of the Legion of Doom<\/em><\/strong> is a fun animated flick and placeholder for the upcoming LEGO Batman<\/em> feature film set for release in 2017.<\/p>\n

Attack of the Legion of Doom<\/em><\/strong> is a fun addition or compliment to the animated LEGO<\/em> movie line with a fun story to go along with tongue-in-cheek jokes that both kids and adults with enjoy. The animation is also relatively impressive and for a DTV flick, they seemed to do a good job with the casting with Josh Keaton\u2019s Green Lantern and James Arnold Taylor\u2019s Flash playing well off one another though Troy Baker voicing Batman doesn\u2019t compare to Will Arnett, though for what it is, he\u2019s serves the role well enough.<\/p>\n

This release comes with a matted slip cover<\/strong>. Inside is a redemption code for the Digital HD<\/u><\/strong> copy.<\/p>\n

Click, Zap, Boom! Creating the Sound Design (19:51; HD)<\/u><\/strong> looks at how the sound is created for the LEGOs and the world they inhabit.<\/p>\n

Warner Home Video releases Justice League: Attack of the League of Doom<\/em><\/strong> arrives on Blu-ray presented with a 1.78 widescreen aspect ratio and a 1080p high-definition transfer. The colors look fantastic and bright popping off the screen quite nicely and details for being animated is sharp and shows no major signs of banding or other flaws.

AUDIO \u2013 4.0\/5<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The movie includes a nice if not standard DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. Because it\u2019s animated, there are some limitations as it doesn\u2019t quite sound natural but all in all it\u2019s still decent enough providing for clear dialogue levels throughout and the action scenes, while not very robust, still have good enough depth making for a pleasant aural experience.<\/p>\n
