Review: “COPS”: Wildest Chases DVD

“COPS”: Wildest Chases is a really basic release and the title is a bit misleading because rather than compiling the “wildest” chases, instead we get 7 full episodes from recent seasons. Considering there are “COPS” marathons on both Spike and CMT (in remix form), I’m not sure why one should pay a penny for this release…

“COPS”: Wildest Chases drives onto DVD presented with an anamorphic widescreen 1.78 aspect ratio and for the most part looks like it did when each episode originally aired on Spike.

The Dolby Digital 2.0 track isn’t anything noteworthy but effective enough with OK dialogue levels while the more action-oriented scenes (i.e. the chases) are rather flat.
