Suits is a fun show with great characters and story arcs that still stay fresh over the course of the nine seasons; it’s no wonder why this is one of the most highly streamed shows ever.

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment provided me with a free copy of the Blu-ray I reviewed in this Blog Post.
The opinions I share are my own.
THE MOVIE — 4/5 |
Plot Synopsis: Suits delves into the fast-paced, high-stakes world of a Manhattan corporate law firm where hotshot attorney Harvey Specter (GRABRIEL MACHT) makes a risky move by hiring legal prodigy Mike Ross (PATRICK J. ADAMS) as his new associate despite not having a college or law degree. The two are forced to keep up the charade as they become an irrepressible duo. Boundaries are crossed, alliances are tested and fallouts are inevitable. Quick Hit Review: Suits is a series I never watched when it aired, mostly because I’m generally not a big fan of legal dramas but watching it recently now, this is a show that features wonderfully fun and colorful characters and engaging plotlines. The big standouts are Gabriel Macht in the lead alongside Patrick J. Adams, Rick Hoffman who plays smarm so well, Gina Torres and the stunningly gorgeous Sarah Rafferty who plays well off of Macht throughout the series. |
SPECIAL FEATURES – 3¾/5 |
The nine seasons of Suits each come in their own HD keep case (with unique UPCs so these could be released separately in the future). Features include Episode Commentary Tracks, numerous Deleted Scenes, Outtakes, Gag Reels and various behind-the-scenes Featurettes. |
VIDEO – 4/5 |
Universal releases Suits onto Blu-ray for the first time, at least in North America, and each episode is presented in the original 1.78 widescreen aspect ratio as televised on USA Network. As it is, the transfers weren’t altogether bad, just not entirely phenomenal. Still, detail was pretty good and colors are bright and vibrant with no obvious signs of artifacting, aliasing or other flaws. |
AUDIO – 3¾/5 |
Every episode is accompanied with a basic but still provides for strong dialogue which of course is the bulk of the show anyway. There is some okay depth with the score and the ambient noises either outside or inside the bustling office. |
OVERALL – 4/5 |
Suits is a fun show with great characters and story arcs that still stay fresh over the course of the nine seasons; it’s no wonder why this is one of the most highly streamed shows ever. As for this Complete Series, it’s a nice set packed with a good amount of bonus material. |
