SEASON SYNOPSIS

FBI Agent Clarice Starling (REBECCA BREEDS) returns to the field in 1993, one year after the events of The Silence of the Lambs. Brilliant and vulnerable, Clarice’s bravery gives her an inner light that draws monsters and madmen to her. However, her complex psychological makeup that comes from a challenging childhood empowers her to begin to find her voice while working in a man’s world, as well as escape the family secrets that have haunted her throughout her life.

SPECIAL FEATURES – 3/5

This 4-disc set comes housed in a clear keep case and a semi-glossy slip cover. Features include The Silence is Over (11:01), Progress in Portrayals (24:53) and VICAP Views (37:01) featurettes, Deleted Scenes and a Gag Reel (4:22).

VIDEO – 4/5, AUDIO – 4¼/5

Paramount releases Clarice: Season One onto DVD where it’s presented with a 16×9 enhanced 1.78 widescreen aspect ratio, as originally televised on CBS. This is a very dark movie both in terms of the story but also how it was shot, so colors are really tamped down. Each episode comes with a standard Dolby Digital 5.1 track which has some decent depth and provides clear dialogue coming via the center speaker.
