The Hospital is a dark comedy that works mostly for George C. Scott though the story itself isn’t only mildly amusing. The Blu-ray has okay video/audio transfers but lacks many features.

VIDEO – 4.5/5, AUDIO – 3.75/5 |
The movie comes to Blu-ray from Twilight Time and is presented in its original 2.35 widescreen aspect ratio and given a 1080p high-definition transfer. For the most part, this is a nice looking transfer, detail is pretty sharp throughout and colors are generally bright but still in keeping with its time period. The included DTS-HD Master Audio Mono track is serviceable enough outputting clear dialogue and even some modest depth in the various action-like scenes. |
OVERALL – 3.0/5 |
Overall, Sword of Sherwood Forest is another fine adaptation or story of the famous Robin Hood with some fun swashbuckling-like scenes and a charismatic performance from lead actor Richard Greene and legendary actor Peter Cushing making for a great foe. This Blu-ray from Twilight Time offers up good video and audio transfers but lackluster features. |
