The Executioners isn’t anything special but still a quickly-paced, if not also a poorly edited, horror-thriller with an okay twist and at least features some fine performances, for the most part, from its leads including Jemma Dallender.

SPECIAL FEATURES – 0/5

No features were included.

VIDEO – 3.75/5, AUDIO – 3.75/5

The movie is shown with a 2.35 anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio and comes with a basic but effective Dolby Digital 5.1 track that outputs the blood-curdling screams. Neither are fancy but as standard def goes, not bad.

OVERALL – 2.25/5

Overall, The Executioners isn’t anything special but still a quickly-paced, if not also a poorly edited, horror-thriller with an okay twist and at least features some fine performances, for the most part, from its leads including Jemma Dallender. The DVD itself released through Lionsgate offers no bonus material but the video/audio transfers are both slightly above average.
