This two-disc release from Arrow Films’ “Arrow Academy” line, Spotlight on a Murderer offers great video and audio transfers but falters a bit in the features department with only an older featurette, though the accompanied booklet is worth a read.

Arrow Films places Spotlight on a Murderer onto Blu-ray presented with a 1080p high-definition transfer digitally restored by Gaumont and looks pretty darn good with nice, stark black levels while still maintaining sharp detail throughout.
The disc comes with a French language PCM Mono track. For a movie that really is mostly music or dialogue, it’s a perfectly satisfying lossless audio option and I noticed no discernible pops or hisses. |
OVERALL – 3.0/5 |
Overall, this two-disc release from Arrow Films’ “Arrow Academy” line, Spotlight on a Murderer offers great video and audio transfers but falters a bit in the features department with only an older featurette, though the accompanied booklet is worth a read. The movie itself was a decent enough drama-mystery. |
