Viral is a well made and breezy horror-thriller featuring two fine performances by young actresses Sofia Black D’Ella and Analeigh Tipton. Not sure if it’s the kind of movie you buy right off but it’s probably worth a rental as any TV airing would neuter it.

SPECIAL FEATURES – 0/5 |
This release comes with a semi-glossy slip cover. No features were included. |
VIDEO – 4.0/5, AUDIO – 4.0/5

Viral infects its way on DVD (a Blu-ray version is available exclusively through Amazon.com) presented with an anamorphic 2.39 widescreen aspect ratio and looks good with bright colors. The Dolby Digital 5.1 track is more than serviceable enough with the LFE channel kicking it into gear with decent depth. |
OVERALL – 3.5/5 |
Overall, Viral is a well made and breezy horror-thriller featuring two fine performances by young actresses Sofia Black D’Ella and Analeigh Tipton. Not sure if it’s the kind of movie you buy right off but it’s probably worth a rental as any TV airing would neuter it. The DVD released by Anchor Bay offers good video/audio transfers but unfortunately there are no features. |
