The Vatican Exorcisms can be added to the very long line of found footage movies and this one is not even done particularly very well with bad acting and a really dumb story that offers absolutely no scares whatsoever. The DVD release is pretty basic with minimal bonus material and average transfers.

THE MOVIE
Black Masses, orgies, and possession: the horrifying story that the church tried to bury. Hoping to expose a shocking scandal inside the Vatican, a filmmaker travels to Rome to interview several key witnesses, but finds himself unearthing something far more sinister. As he is drawn further into the satanic underworld, he becomes dangerously close to exposing a darker reality of corruption and demonic forces, and soon discovers that the truth is best kept secret.
SPECIAL FEATURES – 0.5/5
Not much here except for a Photo Gallery and the Trailer (1:16).
VIDEO — 3.0/5 | AUDIO — 3.75
The Vatican Exorcisms is presented with an anamorphic widescreen transfer (2.35 aspect ratio) and looks OK though since it’s done in “found footage” style, it’s not exactly the prettiest picture with drab colors and some artifacts. The Dolby Digital 5.1 track is serviceable enough providing clear dialogue and so-so depth for the ambient noises.
OVERALL – 2.0/5
Overall, The Vatican Exorcisms can be added to the very long line of found footage movies and this one is not even done particularly very well with bad acting and a really dumb story that offers absolutely no scares whatsoever. The DVD release is pretty basic with minimal bonus material and average transfers.
