These are only here to give an idea of the movie’s video quality but may not be truly representative of it.

  1. Great job. In terms of the extras being of “not much interest” I must disagree – the inclusion of “Murder a la Mod” in its entirety, a very difficult-to-see and seminal DePalma film (which, like Tarantino, also takes Kubrick’s “The Killing” as inspiration to fracture the narrative in interesting ways) makes this disc even more of a must-have for DePalma fans and historians.

    Thanks for the review! R

  2. That’s true, but I expected some more, though Like I said, I enjoyed the hour long interview.

  3. Region A? So no good for us in the UK then? Could you tell us briefly if the DVD contains all the special features, please? Thanks.

  4. Hi Andy,

Yeah, according to the back cover it is Region A only and doing some research, all other Criterion releases (like Broadcast News) are region locked as well. As for the features, I believe everything is included on the DVD as well, however I cannot confirm it as the info I’ve read do not mention De Palma’s “Murder a la Mod”.

I contacted Criterion and in fact the DVD and Blu-ray have the same features.

  5. Thanks very much for that, Brian. Much appreciated.
