30 Rock is a hilarious show, probably the funniest one I’ve come across since Seinfeld and Frasier. The ensemble was pitch-perfectly cast headlined by Tina Fey and even Alec Baldwin, along with Jack McBrayer, Jane Krakowski and Tracy Morgan.

The Star technically isn’t a great animated movie by any stretch but it is perfectly safe and unlike The Emoji Movie, did illicit a few laughs from me and never once came across as cynical, and the voice talents was pretty impressive while the animation, albeit nothing extraordinary, was passable.

Fist Fight is exactly what I was expecting: Charlie Day’s talents being underutilized, Ice Cube scowling most of the time, jokes falling completely flat and a story being stretched even with its short 85-minute running time.

The Son of No One features two actors that seem to give it their all – Pacino and Liotta – with the others doing their best with what they have. The storyline doesn’t hold up too well and the gaps in logic are so huge that it’s hard to ignore. At best I’d recommend a rental but to keep expectations in check.
